A team of historians, and residents and friends of Mosquito Beach traveled to Columbia, SC in support of the nomination. RIGHT: The Foundation actively protects historic properties in the Lowcountry through its easements programs, ensure the historic fabric of the building remains in perpetuity. In 2019, the Foundation proudly accepted three new easement donations (46 Tradd Street, 6 St. Michaels Alley and 3 Zig Zag Alley) from preservation-minded homeowners who are partnering with us to protect Charlestons historic resources.
