PreserVISIONist Tour of Indigo: Variations in Blue

PreserVISIONists are invited to explore Indigo: Variations in Blue during an exclusive after-hours self-guided experience at the Aiken-Rhett House Museum.

Featuring works by eight artists connected through their practice with indigo as dye, pigment, and cultural memory, the exhibition transforms one of the most intact antebellum urban properties in the American South into a meditation on indigo's global history, its role in Charleston's plantation economy, and its living presence in contemporary art. Textiles, ceramics, sculpture, installation, and video are installed throughout the property, inviting visitors to move through both the artworks and the house at their own pace.

This event is free for current PreserVISIONists. Space is limited and RSVP is required. If you have questions about the status of your PreserVISIONist dues, or if you're interested in becoming a PreserVISIONist, reach out to Events Manager, Ruth Smith at rsmith@historiccharleston.org
