Historic Charleston Foundation (HCF) is seeking two Marketing and Events interns eager to hone their skills and gain resume-building experience in destination marketing in the spring of 2026. Interns will also assist with the preparation and execution of two of the Foundation’s largest fundraisers, Charleston by Design and The Charleston Festival which attracts over 15,000 guests and 450+ volunteers. This is an unpaid internship which runs from March 2 - April 17, 2026.
The Philanthropy Coordinator provides daily administrative support to all members of the Philanthropy team, and especially to the Philanthropy Services Manager regarding timely gift entry and mailing of gift acknowledgment letters. This position will also be instrumental in maintaining the Policies and Procedures Manual for the Historic Charleston Foundation Philanthropy Department. The Philanthropy Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Philanthropy.
