An event every day that begins at 5:30 pm, repeating until December 16, 2023
‘Tis the season! Join us for a holiday inspired tour of the Nathaniel Russell House Museum, spruced up and illuminated by candlelight, the way the Russells would have lit the house before electricity.
From Wednesday, December 13th through Saturday, December 16th, guests will have four chances to enjoy this once-a-year holiday-inspired tour. Each 45-minute docent-led tour takes you back in time to the early 19th century. Learn about the holiday traditions of the time, as well as how the Russell family and their enslaved workers would have observed the holidays. In addition, guests will enjoy a historic-holiday-inspired pomander ball craft (pictured below) and seasonal refreshments to enjoy in this marvelous and festive Historic House Museum. Space is limited. Tickets required.
