HCF is honoring Charleston’s unparalleled historic spaces while celebrating contemporary design this December at Illumination Charleston. The weekend kicks off at the Opening Night Party with some of your favorite Southern designers who will transform the Aiken-Rhett House through a series of design vignettes. Throughout the weekend, HCF will host four Design in Mind talks featuring all-star designers Alessandra Branca, Ashley Whittaker, and India Hicks, as well as a panel moderated by Southern Living Editor-in-Chief Sid Evans discussing “Preservation as Inspiration.” The panel features Betsy Berry, Ceara Donnelley, Keith Langham, and Jill Sharp Weeks, four designers responsible for some of Charleston’s most magnificent homes.
