Please note: Historic Charleston Foundation’s October 23, 2023 Mayoral Forum is not a partisan political event. It’s a free community forum to hear from each of the candidates for mayor on a pre-determined list of questions on issues related to preservation and livability. All 6 candidates who filed to run for Mayor of the City of Charleston have been invited, and each has accepted. Further, there will be no support or opposition expressed for any candidate in the race, nor is there any candidate or political fundraising component.
