Steamboat Sappho and US Ship Prairie

Description

Identified as the steamboat ferry Sappho which carried passengers and goods between the Custom House Dock and Mt. Pleasant. The ship "Prairie" is in the background. Originally identified as US ship "Prairie" and steamboat "Sappho" about 1910.
