Restoration of 635 East Bay Street (Faber House a/k/a Ward House)

Description

Two B&W photographs of 635 East Bay Street (Faber House) during the restoration by the H.A. DeCosta Company:

a: Exterior restoration of the front of the house. Note that the balcony has been removed; the first and second floor windows have been restored to their original arched form; the front door has been restored to its original size; and the balusters have been replaced with ones of their original shape.

b: View of the north elevation of the Faber House showing the demolition of surrounding buildings.
