Photos of Miscellaneous Houses

Description

Six photographs of mostly unidentified houses and a scene in Hampton Park:

a: 181 Gordon Street under final construction with the original porch. It was built in 1940 for Israel and Ethel Altman, who lived in the house for more than 50 years. Israel Altman founded the Altman Furniture Co. on King Street. In 1950, the front porch was enclosed and extended out three feet. The house remains in the family. An almost identical house is located at 273 George Street.

b: Two women sitting on the front steps of an unidentified house numbered 199. Location unknown.

c: Woman stands by the side of an unidentified house. View of the house across the street in background.

d-e: Toddler on the front porch of 123 Coming Street. View of 124 Coming Street in background.

f: Two girls on a swing sets in the backyard(?) of an unidentified house. "[19]45 Hinky & me" written on back of photo.
