McLeod Residence

Description

Photographic postcard (scan) featuring the home of William McLeod:

Front: View of the northwest corner elevation of the house. Handwritten caption: "McLeod Residence, James Island near Charleston, S.C."

Back: Postcard addressed to Mrs. A. (Anne) Howard in Dublin from W.E. McLeod, dated Feb. 10, 1931: "We were indeed pleased to receive your nice Christmas card and appreciate your remembering us. We often speak of our trip abroad and the friends we made. We wonder if Finbar remembers us. He is going to be a prominent man. My sister spent one week in a nursing home in London with the abscess on her arm; otherwise we had a delightful trip. Kind regards from all of us. Sincerely, W.E. McLeod."
