Home in Ruins After the 1938 Tornado

Description

Silver gelatin photograph of the destruction of a house done by the tornadoes of September, 29, 1938. Possibly in the Fiddlers' Green neighborhood on Hagood Avenue near the Ashley River.* Two men lean against the ruins, while another man climbs a a nearby telephone pole.
