Architectural Elements at the Robert Primerose House

Description

Thirty-four color photographs (prints and Kodak disc negatives) featuring architectural elements that were stored at the Robert Primerose House (332 East Bay Street). Includes doors, mantels, decorative wood trim, a fanlight, and the wood framing of the piazza.

There is no documentation about the items, i.e., their origin; whether or not any came from the Primerose house; and if not original to the house, where they originated and why they were stored at there; etc. Presumably, any items original to the house had been removed in preparation for the restoration of the building.

Of note, the rooftops of the Ansonborough Homes development can be seen in the background of Photo 1.

4.5" prints available for Photos 1-16.
