4.2h: South elevation of the Aiken-Rhett House (48 Elizabeth Street) under repair; the arm of a bucket lift appears in the right foreground. House shows evidence of disrepair, especially on the piazzas.

4.2i: West elevation, also showing signs of disrepair. A workman(?) stands at a second-story window, holding what appears to be a covering for a window (similar to that on 2nd floor piazza in photo 4.2h). Signs of stabilization materials on each piazza.

Handwritten note on sleeve indicates that these are Charleston Museum photos.
