Description

Album of photographs and other documentation related to 71 Anson Street (Thomas Doughty House) (a/k/a 69-71 Anson Street). Some photographs are color; some are B&W. Interior and exterior shots; some shots of renovation work and construction of the pool. There are a few photos of the house taken after a snowfall.

Includes historical information about the house, including narrative written by donor who had owned the house; newspaper articles about the house; plat (1973); architectural drawings ("Recommended Treatment for Gates and Wall," 1960, and "Swimming Pool Design," 1980).

Also includes documentation of Ansonborough and of the building of the Gaillard Auditorium (newspaper articles, B&W aerial view of site).

Most photographs taken by the donor who owned the house at the time.
