B&W photograph of 52 Bull Street (Samuel Seyle House), front elevation. Iron gate in foreground.
Constructed ca. 1838. In the late-1830s the owner of the plantation-style house at 48 Bull Street built this two-story single house for his son. Altered in the late-19th century, the house now boasts a deep entablature with Queen Anne-style brackets and Victorian turned columns on the side piazza. (Buildings of Charleston, p. 499.)
