209 Ashley Avenue, 30 Queen Street, 8 South Battery, and 139 Tradd Street

Description

Digital photographs of original B&W photographs of 209 Ashley Avenue, 30 Queen Street, 8 South Battery, and 139 Tradd Street:

a-d: Four photographs of 209 Ashley Avenue, ca. 1910.

e: 30 Queen Street, February 1930.

f: 8 South Battery, ca. 1925, showing the pool in the interior courtyard.

g: 139 Tradd Street kitchen house. (The kitchen house at 139 Tradd Street stood behind a wooden building that was relocated to Lenwood Blvd. in 1913 to make way for a new building at 139 Tradd. The kitchen house probably was torn down at that time.)

Digital photographs of original photos from the Pinckney-Means Papers at the SC Historical Society. For research purposes only. Contact SC Historical Society for more information.
