Description

B&W photograph of the St. Michael's Glebe Tenement (10 Coming Street), front elevation and showing the southwest corner of the building.

Constructed ca. 1820-30; altered mid-20th entury. Preservationists have long recognized the graceful character of this late-Neoclassical style house, built on St. Michael's portion of the glebe lands. The projecting pediment from the front-facing gable roof boasts a Neoclassical style fanlight. (Poston, Buildings of Charleston.)
