The Lost Architecture: December 2020 Edition

Posted: January 6, 2021

339 East Bay Street

There’s no history of this building in HCF’s Archives except that it was demolished sometime after the photograph was taken – probably along with its neighbor, W.I. Chapman Plumbing, at 341 East Bay – and is now a parking lot. (Old Codgers’ Charleston Address Book.) The ca. 1957 photograph is by Louis Schwartz.
