Join Aliza from Rosie the Wanderer to learn how to tie basic macrame knots to make your very own macrame plant hanger. In this 2 hour class you will learn many fun knot patterns and designs. By the end of the class, you will know the macrame basics so that you can take the skills home and make some fun handmade gifts for your friends and family! Also… fiber art is therapeutic and relieves stress! In this class, participants will likely be kneeling or sitting on the floor for the last 20 minutes or so, so dress comfy & get ready for some fun! Hands-on instruction and small class sizes to make for a memorable crafting experience.
This program will be held at the Captain James Missroon House, 40 East Bay St, overlooking the Charleston battery. Tickets go on sale November 1. $60 per person. All supplies included. Limited space available. This event is part of the 76th Annual Festival of Houses and Gardens.
