Join Grahame Long, Director of Museums for Historic Charleston Foundation for an exclusive, after-hours tour of the Nathaniel Russell House’s esteemed furniture collection. Go behind the ropes for an up-close examination of the significant English and Charleston-made pieces and learn the intricate details behind their materials and styles. Grahame will furthermore discuss the fascinating lives of the many local cabinetmakers whose wares decorate nearly every room in the Russell House, including Robert Walker, Jacob Sass, and enslaved Charleston cabinetmaker John Gough.
