Join Sarah Ferguson, Archivist and Librarian for Historic Charleston Foundation for an in-depth exclusive tour of the reading rooms and archives at the Missroon House. As keeper of the Foundation’s archives, Sarah is responsible for preserving and sharing the story of Historic Charleston Foundation and its role in Charleston’s history. On this tour you will go behind the glass and see the papers, photographs, and other items that make up this collection that has always been accessible but is now being proudly shown and interpreted. Archives are not just about our past, but about our present and our future. Light refreshments with Q&A to follow.
This tour will begin at 5:30 pm, please arrive 15 minutes before to ensure the group starts on time. Space is limited due to the size of the Archives space, additional tour available at 4:30 pm.
