Donate | Individual Giving

Individual donors support Historic Charleston Foundation’s mission to preserve the architecture, history and culture of Charleston and its Lowcountry environs. All gifts play a significant role in Charleston's future by helping to preserve its past as Historic Charleston Foundation continues to lead the nation in developing cutting-edge preservation initiatives. Contributions make a critical difference, whether they are used for repair and maintenance on our house museums, educational programming, helping the Foundation to respond quickly to preservation issues, or protecting Charleston's architectural treasures through the Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative.

You can donate through our Friends program, give an honor/memorial gift for a loved one, donate easements on historic properties, or create a legacy for the future through planned gifts as a member of the Granville Bastion Legacy Society.  If you have questions or would like assistance in making a donation, please contact the Philanthropy Office at friends@historiccharleston.org or 843.720.1183.
