Nathaniel Russell House Museum Family Tours

Step back in time with the whole family at the Nathaniel Russell house museum.

Each Monday and Wednesday in July, you and your family can explore the Nathaniel Russell House, c. 1808, through the eyes of Alicia Russell who grew up in the house in the early 1800s. The Neoclassical house, with a free-flying staircase that seems to float on air, oval rooms and gilded moldings, is one of the finest in the city. Learn about the house and all the people who once lived and worked on the property during a thirty-minute guided tour for children and parents. Afterward, children are invited into the garden to play games popular during Alicia's childhood.
