Carolina Rice Cross Necklace
Rice cultivation was the basis for much of Charleston's wealth, and the East Branch of the Cooper River was the site of some of the largest and most productive plantations. These plantations were the original cultivators of Carolina Gold Rice. This design is inspired by the hand carving on the pulpit of Pompion Hill Chapel, also known as the Chapel of Ease due to its proximity to the plantations in comparison to those churches found in town.
