44: Two girls and a boy standing in front of 14 Parkwood Avenue.
45: Two girls, a boy, and a cow in front of 14 Parkwood Avenue. The boy is the father of Charleston lawyer Gedney Howe. The family kept the cow under the porch of their house.
The house is still there but the porch has been closed in on the second floor. This was the home of the Gedney Howe family. (Details and address provided by the donor.)
