To sign up, choose a volunteer role for each tour you wish to work from the drop down box next to it.

Volunteer Roles

Docent: Describe room to which you are assigned to visitors using information provided by HCF.

Senior Docent: Act as a liaison between the home/building owner and docents assigned to that site. Generally stationed at front door to greet visitors and manage flow of visitors. Provide overall history of site to visitors using information provided by HCF.

Garden Docent: Describe garden space to which you are assigned to visitors using information provided by HCF. Garden docents are needed for all Festival tours, not just Glorious Gardens.

Street Marshal: Assist visitors with directions to tour sites and general information provided by HCF. Stationed outside along tour route.

Senior Street Marshal: Coordinate street marshals for a given tour. Walk tour route to assist visitors.

Reception Host/Hostess: Pour wine and lemonade for visitors during the Glorious Gardens receptions. This space is limited to two dates per volunteer.

You may sign up for as many Festival tours as you wish. By signing up for a tour, you are committing to work both dates listed for it. You will be assigned to all of the tours that you choose.

Glorious Gardens (2-5 p.m.)
