Girl Scout Opportunities @ the Aiken-Rhett House

Junior Girl Scouts can earn credits toward their Local Lore Patch with these exciting new visits to the Aiken-Rhett House, c. 1818.

Tour Your Community: Look for three different architectural periods at the Aiken-Rhett House. Your guide will discuss how the house changed from the Federal style to the Greek Revival and Gothic Revival styles, while interpreting the social lives of the Aiken-Rhett family.

Take a Trip: Visit the Aiken-Rhett House for a special tour focusing on the everyday lives of women living on the property. Explore the manual labor being performed by African American women in the back lot and compare it to the life of entertainment and Grand Tours of the Aiken-Rhett family living in the main house.

Additional Adults: $8 per person
